IPC SYSTEMS LIMITED TRADING TERMS AND CONDITIONS

PRICING
List prices do not include UK carriage charges or VAT.
We reserve the right to change listed prices without notice.
Written quotations secure prices for 30 days only.
Discounts may be given for quantity purchases, or purchases which have a firm delivery schedule over an extended period.

ORDERING
Orders may be placed by any means of communication but will only be accepted as valid by IPC Systems Limited on receipt of an authorized written confirmation.
Goods ordered in error may be replaced with corrected items but may incur a restocking charge of 20% of their value.
Goods ordered in excess of requirements may not automatically be returned for credit.
Any goods returned must be complete and in “as new” condition. Goods returned which are not in this condition may not be credited and may also incur some replacement or repair charges.
All software product orders are final. Goods may not be returned.

ACCOUNTS
A limited value 30-day credit account may be set up between IPC Systems Limited and a customer upon provision of two trading references and a bank reference together with the customer’s Company Registration Number. A form may be faxed to the customer for this purpose.
We regret that we are unable to set up credit accounts for private customers.

PAYMENT
Payment terms are strictly 30 days from the date of the invoice. All discounts are subject to these terms. Failure to comply with the terms may result in the discount being withdrawn for current and future purchases.
In addition IPC Systems Limited will be entitled to charge interest at the equivalent of 2% per month over bank base rate on the outstanding debt.
IPC Systems Limited will be pleased to negotiate extended payment terms but price differences may apply.

DELIVERY
We will always endeavour to deliver the goods ordered within the quoted period. However, IPC Systems Limited cannot be held responsible should the goods be held up for reasons beyond their control.
There are no separate importation charges made for standard shipments. A customer may request express delivery for which a charge will be made at the cost of the shipping.
Export deliveries will be charged at cost.
We use an internal shipping agent who will provide a traceable next working day delivery, Saturday and courier delivery can also be arranged at extra cost.

DELIVERY DAMAGE OR LOSS
If goods are mislaid or damaged in transit they are covered by IPC Systems Limited insurance. IPC Systems Limited will make every effort to trace lost goods after two days from shipment.
Goods damaged in transit must be reported to IPC Systems Limited immediately upon receipt. IPC Systems Limited will not accept a damaged goods report received beyond 48 hours after customer’s receipt.
IPC Systems Limited reserve the right to carry out inspection and repairs to damaged goods.

PRODUCT SUPPORT WARRANTIES AND REPAIRS

All products supplied carry a minimum of a one-year warranty.
If the customer suspects a fault with an item and reasonable investigation has taken place to locate the problem without success, IPC Systems Limited will endeavour to give some guidance to help correct the fault via telephone support.
If the product needs repair it should be sent back to IPC Systems Limited together with a report of the problem incurred. IPC Systems Limited will bear the cost of the return shipping for all warranty repairs. If the repair can be carried out in England, IPC Systems Limited will try to turn the repair around in five to seven working days. On some occasions the item may have to be returned to the manufacturer consequently prolonging the return time.
IPC Systems Limited reserve the right to repair, replace or issue a credit note for the goods which ever they think is appropriate at the time.
